This archaeological building is about 200 years of old, another 19th century monuments of the Renaissance colonial style in Bangladesh, Govinda Ram Shaha was the founder of it who was a big salt merchant in the middle of the 18th century. This palace is located at Baliati village which is in the Saturia Upozila of Manikganj district. A river named Gazikhali which is demised interim of the time, flowed at the northern side of the palace. The whole premise is a huge one (approximately 16000 square meter). There are possibly 200 rooms available inside the premise. Back side of the palace has a pond having four ghats. Other side of the pond has a series of sanitary lavatory.
